This piece has been made in light of our dualistic paradigm that we call our opposition’s e.g. Light and dark, good and evil, male and female etc. This is made prevalent by the geometry chosen, the star tetrahedron (the representation of the oppositions in perfect balance with one another). What makes this geometry special is the curvature of the lines. All platonic solids are straight lined, (male orientated), but by bending the lines, we introduce the feminine aspect by which making this piece balanced not only in its physical appearance, but also in its metaphysical. Making it perfectly balanced and harmonised.
